Mayan History – Cozumel Mexico – The Landmark of Cozumel

These lost cities hail back as far as 2,000 years ago, when the Mayas were studying astronomy and physics. Their unique culture is preserved in the Ruins in Mexico.  Every visitor to Cozumel should visit Chichen Itza, Tulum, or Coba Mayan ruins. The largest ruins are on the mainland and accessible by ferry. On the Island of Cozumel the largest Mayan Ruin is San Gervasio.
